2023 Guber: God Will Strengthen You, Grant You Success - Okobo Paramount Ruler To Pastor Umo Eno

As the PDP/Pastor Umo Eno and Akon Eyakenyi campaign team continues to woo electorate from every commumity in the state ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Paramount Ruler of Okobo Local Government Area, HRM, Edidem Ita Edet Okokon III has prayed that God will continue to strengthen Pastor Umo Eno and grant him victory at the governorship polls.

Edidem Ita Edet Okokon III who is the Isonsi I of Okobo Kingdom, proclaimed his blessings on Pastor Umo Eno when the Campaign team paid a consultation visit to his palace before proceeding for a rally at Government Primary School, Okobo.

He noted that Okobo people are enlightened, peace loving, and fully aware of what is good for the area and the state in general; adding that the people of Okobo will vote for continuous peace and development.

The royal father commended Governor Udom Emmanuel for his strides at ensuring peace and continuous development in the area and the state at large, adding that like Oliver Twist, Okobo yearns for more.

Earlier in his remarks, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Umo Eno commended the monarch, the traditional institution and the entire people of the area for coming out to receive him, stressing that the visit was to pay homage and seek blessings from the royal father.

He noted that Okobo LGA as well as the Oro Nation is a special area adding that such umiqueness warranted the choice of Senator Akon Eyakenyi form the Oro Nation, as deputy governorship candidate.

Pastor Eno who was accompanied by his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Eno, the deputy governorship candidate Senator Akon Eyakenyi and leadership of the campaign council noted that when elected into office in 2023, his administration will continue to respect the traditional institution and work with them to ensure continuous peace and development of the state.

While acknowledging that the Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration has been committed to peace and security in the area, he said when elected his administration will work with the security agencies and the traditional institution to further on the peace in the area.

He assured that ongoing projects in the area, especially the Okobo road leading to the Atabong beach will be completed, as well as other life touching projects in the area.
