2023: College of Education Students Endorse Umo Eno, PDP

To sustain the peace enjoyed in the state, the Students of Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit, on Friday December 2nd joined the league of Akwa Ibommites to endorsed pastor Umo Eno/ Sen. Akon Eyakeyin, PDP joint ticket come 2023.

Comrade Mfon Udoette, President Students Union Government who led the entire students of the college to the campaign office in Uyo said, collect students decided to throw their weight behind pastor Umo Eno having seen his leadership credentials and blueprint for Akwa Ibom State.

Comrade Udoette commended the provost of the college, Dr. Daniel Udo on uninterrupted academic calendar and conducive environment for learning and other businesses at COE Afaha Nsit.

The student's leader further explained that, over 10,000 students have so far collected their PVCs waiting to cast their vote come March 2023.

Collaborating, Mr. Ubong Silas, Dean of students Affairs of the college urged Akwa Ibom students to believe wholly in Pastor Umo Eno and give him the opportunity to serve, crossing his heart that he will do well.

Also speaking was SA to the Governor on Student's matters, Comr. Akwaowo Clifford who expressed confidence in Pastor Umo Eno's quantum capacity to attract life touching developments to the student's community. He implored them to elect all PDP candidates across board for a better Akwa Ibom in particular and Nigeria in general.

In his remarks, the PDP flag bearer and gubernatorial candidate, pastor Umo Eno promised to give students what rightfully belongs to them, through payment of bursary and giving of education grants to deserving students who stood out academically. "We are going to transform education to a digital base and give it the needed attention," Pastor Umo Eno assured.

Others who gave their goodwill messages include; Mrs Idongesit Etiebet, Hon. Commissioner for Education, Dr. Wisdom Enang, oil and gas consultant amongst others.

The students decorated Pastor Umo Eno with customised mufla as SUG grand patron and face cap as a sign of endorsement.

In attendance at the event were; Sir Charles Udo, Hon Commissioner for Environment and Solid Minerals,Rt. Hon. Anietie Eka, Member Representing Uyo State Constituency, Comrade Edidiong Ita, secretary student's mobilisation committee and other notable members of Umo Eno/ Akon Eyakeyin campaign organisation.
