2023 Guber: God has Favoured us with Umo Eno - Mkpat Enin Paramount Ruler Declares
Paramount Ruler of Mkpat Enin local government area, HRM, Edidem Akpan Ekpene has stated that his local government is favoured with the choice of Pastor Umo Eno to succeed Governor Udom Emmanuel in 2023, by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The royal father who is the Akwa Enin Mkpat Enin (V) made this known when the PDP/Pastor Umo Eno and Akon Eyakenyi campaign team visited his palace before proceeding to Mkpat Enin Stadium for the campaign rally.
He stated that the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP is their in-law in whom they are well pleased adding that the forces of nature: sun, moon and others have smiled on Mkpat Enin by standing by their son in-law.
The monarch who commended Governor Emmanuel for the development stride in the area, prayed that God will favour and grant victory to Pastor Umo Eno in the 2023 governorship polls.
In his remarks, Pastor Umo Eno appreciated the Paramount Ruler for the warm reception given his team and assured everyone that Mkpat Enin will be given its rightful place in the next administration as in-laws.
He noted that the ARISE Agenda which according to him is an acronym for Agricultural revolution, Rural development, Infrastructural maintenance, Security management, and Educational advancement will find fulfilment in Mkpat Enin just like every other local government area.
Pastor Eno disclosed that he has done a needs assessment and knows full well the desires of the different areas and communities in the state.
He therefore, assured that the next administration will focus on connecting the dots to further peace, security and developement in the state.
