BIRTHING A GOLDEN ERA WITH PASTOR UMO ENO
South Korean politician, activist, lawyer, and longest serving Mayor of Seoul, Park Won-soon has it that "the birth of a new era doesn't come from nothing, but manumitted by new thoughts, values and methods established after overcoming several hurdles on the way to success.
The emergence of Pastor Umo Eno as the Governor-elect offers apt validation to the peoples’ believe in his capacity, competence, character and the determination to consolidate on the gains of past administrations, while sustaining the culture of peace, prosperity and wealth creation in Akwa Ibom State.
Equipped with an agenda tailored for the attainment of sustainable development; a masterpiece good enough to deliver economic emancipation, his administration will usher in an era predicated on love, harmony and inclusiveness.
Apart from his expertise in entrepreneurship which is reflective in his inert ability to create jobs for our young people, his outmost desire to holistically better the economic fortunes of the State remains staunch, undaunted and insoluble.
From agricultural revolution, rural development, infrastructural maintenance and advancement, security management, human capacity development, educational advancement, the Governor-elect will ensure that the State economically takes it's pride of place among the comity of States in the country.
He is prepared for the onerous task and he's no charlatan to the job. In his private capacity as an entrepreneur, he has a track record that speaks volumes, an integrity that remains unquestionable and a pedigree that sums up the fact that from day one at the helm of affairs, the common wealth of the State is guaranteed.
Rather than toe the line of revenge as individual aspersions hold, the technocrat will further the peace we've enjoyed in almost eight years of the current administration seven, and ensure that we do not return to the dreadful years of terror, politically-motivated killings, kidnapping, assassinations, over-bearing cultism, thuggery and ethnocentrism.
All these will be achievable in the golden era where sustainable peace and development will be pursued in order to positioned our State as a destination for investment in view of building a vibrant and diversified economy.
Indeed, Akwa Ibom State is in for a good time as we march towards a golden era of governance made possible by the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno as the 5th democratically elected Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
