2023 Guber: Essien Udim Paramount Ruler Blesses Pastor Umo Eno

As traditional fathers across the state continue to bless the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), Pastor Umo Eno and his mission to serve the state, Paramount Ruler of Essien Udim Local Government Area, HRM Obong Cosmas Okon Akpan has prayed that God will grant him favour and victory at the polls and even beyond.

The monarch showered royal blessings on the frontline candidate during a courtesy visit on him at his palace before proceeding to Afaha Ikot Ebak for the campaign rally.

The royal father maintained that Essien Udim really appreciates the state governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel for the peace in the area adding that his people are determined to support a successor who will further on the peace, security and development of the LGA and state in general.

While applauding the party for choosing a woman as deputy governorship candidate, he noted that women are peace makers and stabilizers; adding that with a woman as deputy governor, the PDP-led government would be stable and able to deliver on its promises.

Earlier in his remarks, Pastor Umo Eno appreciated the paramount ruler and his council for the warm reception, stating that the visit to the area was to thank the people of Essien Udim for their steadfastness with the PDP at all time.

He noted that the ARISE Agenda, his economic blueprint, which stands for Agricultural revolution, Rural development, Infrastructural maintenance, Security management, and Educational advancement will find expression in Essien Udim.

Pastor Eno who was accompanied by his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Eno and deputy governorship candidate, Senator Akon Eyakenyi assured that the sugar factory which the current administration was facilitating through an investor would be completed for the benefit of the area and the state in general, adding that farmers in Essien Udim and other entrepreneures would be supported through the ARISE Agenda.
