God has Chosen, Favoured You - Obot Akara Paramount Ruler Tells Umo Eno

Moved by the torrent of endorsements and overwhelming support for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, the Paramount Ruler of Obot Akara Local Government Area, HRM Okuku Uwa Umoh Adiaka III has stated that truly, the seasoned businessman is God's favoured and chosen one for the state.

He noted that the favour and blessings of God do not preclude obstacles and challenges on the way, but urged Pastor Eno not to be deterred, but remain focused as victory, according to him, is assured.

In his words, "Don't mind these propaganda and court cases against you; these are just test of your strength. Don't be distracted or discouraged, you shall be victorious. I thank you for being firm, and committed to your vision. Go ahead with your campaigns as the Lord is with you."

He commended Governor Udom Emmanuel for his developement projects in the area and urged Pastor Eno to further on the strides when elected.

Earlier in his remarks, Pastor Eno appreciated the royal father for his warm reception and blessings, and assured that he would govern the state in line with God's guidance and direction when elected into office.

Pastor Eno noted that Governor Udom Emmanuel has constructed roads and bridges in Obot Akara, and assured that he would further on the strides.

The governorship hopeful who was accompanied by his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Eno and the deputy governorship candidate, Senator Akon Eyakenyi assured that the traditional institution would continue to have its pride of place and appealed to them to pray and support the continuity of peace, security and development in the state.
