You Shall Succeed - Uyo Paramount Ruler Tells Pastor Eno
Amidst increasing support, endorsements and fervent prayers for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, the Paramount Ruler of Uyo, HRM Edidem Sylvanus Effiong Okon has declared that "he shall succeed in the forthcoming elections."
The Paramount Ruler made the declaration when the PDP/Pastor Umo Eno and Akon Eyakenyi campaign team paid a courtesy call on him at the Uyo Traditional Rulers Council, before proceeding to Afaha Inang for the campaign rally in Uyo.
He noted that the governorship vision and aspiration of Pastor Eno was not strange to Uyo people and assured him that the people of Uyo will join hands to ensure the success of the vision.
The royal father who appreciated Governor Udom Emmanuel for his development strides in Uyo, urged Pastor Eno to ensure continuity when elected into office.
In his remarks, Pastor Eno noted that Uyo is a special local government as the seat of power adding that his administration would continue with the laid down plans to make Uyo one of the leading cosmopolitan cities in Nigeria and even beyond.
Pastor Eno who is a seasoned entrepreneur with major interest in hospitality industry, acknowledged that most major conferences and events in the country have been taking place in Uyo because of the peace, security and infrastructural renaissance in the state, and promised to further the strides by raising the stake.
He appreciated the monarch for receiving his team, and for his prayers, stressing that Uyo would continue to have its pride of place.
